ZINE ZONE

Welcome to the zine zone, pal.

Digital copies available on itch.io, and print copies on request

Terra Calvaria is a system agnostic RPG setting - take it and play the game you want with your favourite system.

I created this world to ask "What if Firefly was anti-colonial and had a maritime setting?" (and so I could draw a cool planet on an old plastic skull.)

But the game ended. The group fizzled out, and after moving house twice with these maps, I finally accepted the fate of this world was no longer in my hands and turned it into a zine for the Festival of the Photocopier 2023.

Micro Cherry Songbook is a project I started shortly after starting work at my old union. A lover asked me if they’d taught me the words to Solidarity Forever yet and I thought “well what if I could just carry them with me?”

MCSB is a series of one-page zines, each containing a labour song, ones you’d expect to find in the Big Red Songbook. These are always free and I take requests on what the next instalment should be.

Hallozeens

In 2022 & 2023 I participated in the Hallozeen swap run by Alex Clark and the Sticky Institute.

2022 saw a more fulsome introduction to the Annwn Arboretum - a creepy botany book about the plants faries turn our body parts into. It contains stylised bones and organs and plays fast and loose with Latin.

In 2023 I made the Best Fiend Folio - a spooky love letter to the swap books that were popular when I was in primary school.

“PRAISE” FOR BEST FIEND FOLIO:

“Sorry, what did you say? I read [Sam Hat’s cause of death] and it caused my ears to stop working.”

Who Can Say? was a project I started intending to put out a zine every month. It lasted four months and then I got a new job and moved interstate (whaaat!) You can request free copies with the zine request form! There are five issues total, with no consistent theme or style. This was a fun experiment and I’m glad I did it!!

Maybe 2024 will see a comeback…..
